The Investigative Committee of Russia presents awards to Young Heroes of the Fatherland

A high-profile awarding of the Young Heroes of the Fatherland took place under the leadership of Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, and with the participation of the Council of Heroes members under the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The event was timed to coincide with the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, and it was attended by: Mr. E.V. Addressing everyone present, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin recalled that this holiday has deep roots and traditions, and we honor the exploits of our compatriots in different periods of history. "Today, Russia is performing important tasks within a Special Military Operation, the Russian Investigative Committee Officers are actually at the forefront, investigating the crimes committed by the Kiev regime. It is gratifying that there are such brave children and teenagers in our ranks. Your heroic deeds are a good start to life," the Head of the Department said. He added that the Officers of the Investigative Committee who died in the line of duty are also rightfully the Heroes of the Fatherland. Their loyalty to the oath and intransigence in the fight against crime will forever remain for us an example of devotion to the Motherland. The meeting participants honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a moment of silence. Mr. A.I. Bastrykin expressed his words of support to the relatives of the victims, who were present at the event today.

The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee presented commemorative medals "350 years since the birth of Peter I" to the members of the Council of Heroes under the Russian Investigative Committee V.A. Shamanov, V.V. Vdovkin, M.M. Gimbatov, A.P. Dumchikov, M.B. Kornienko, Yu.V. Lonchakov before the beginning of the awards ceremony for Young Heroes. The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee noted that the members of the Council of Heroes are actively involved in the education of young people and they are an example for the younger generation, passing on the best traditions of serving the Motherland.

Among the awarded children there were the children of Donbas, who showed their courage in the conditions of hostilities. Thus, the medals "Valour and Courage" were awarded to Evgenia Safronenko for rescuing a pregnant woman in Donetsk, Bogdan Matvienko - for helping a child in Shakhtarsk, and Bogdan Korinsky - for rescuing a wounded comrade in Donetsk.

Daniil Khachaturov, a student of the 10th grade of the Hospital School "UchimZnayem" in Moscow, spoke with the author's work "Live", for an active life position; He was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Russian Investigative Committee.

A number of young heroes were awarded in the subjects of the Russian Federation. Thus, the Head of the Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Udmurt Republic, Mr. R.R. Tugushev presented the Valor and Courage medals to the students of secondary school No. 88 in Izhevsk, Danil Goretsky and Dmitry Ivanov, for timely assistance to children during the attack of an armed criminal who attacked the institution in September 2022. The event was also attended by the mother of the young hero Andrei Kasimov, who died in an unequal battle with a criminal in 2014.

In addition, the Heads of the Territorial Investigative Bodies presented high awards: a medal "For Assistance" to a 9th grade student of the Ozerskaya secondary school of the Republic of Buryatia, Sergei Chernykh, for his courage in saving his mother and older brother from an armed criminal, the boy was injured. The medal "For High Citizenship" was awarded to Valeria Vasilyeva, a student of the 1st grade of secondary school No. 22 in the city of Cheremkhovo, Irkutsk Oblast, for saving the life of a child. Medals "Valour and Courage" - to the 1st year students of the Irkutsk College of Architecture and Construction Danil Mazur and Viktor Nosonov for their courage in rescuing a pregnant woman and her young children from a fire.

Valery Moroz, a 3rd grade student of Yalta Secondary School No. 4, was awarded the Medal of Valor and Courage for showing courage in resisting the actions of a robber; for assistance to the Investigating Authorities in the search for a suspect in a crime against a juvenile.

The medals "Valour and Courage" were awarded to a student of the 10th grade of the secondary school No. 10 in Kyzyl, the Republic of Tyva, Oltan Dospan and Naiyr Chymbalak, a 1st year student of the Tuva Agricultural College, for their courage in rescuing children from a burning house.

Ivan Purtov and Yegor Chernov, 8th grade students of educational institutions of the city of Krasnokamenka, Zabaikalsky Krai, were awarded the Medal "For Assistance" for assisting the investigating authorities in the search for a suspected criminal in committing a robbery.

Rinat Khalimov, a student of the 7th grade of the secondary school in the village of Pochinok-Kuchuk of the Republic of Tatarstan, was awarded the medal "Valour and Courage" for saving children from a burning house.

In the Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Rostov Oblast, the children were awarded departmental awards: the medal "Valor and Courage" - a student of the 9th grade of gymnasium No. 52 in Lugansk, Ilya Semenov, for rescuing a wounded comrade. Medals "For high citizenship" were awarded to a number of students of educational centers of the city of Lugansk for active participation in volunteer activities: Victoria Ishchenko, Sofia Kononenko, Tatyana Sotnikova, Alexandra Verich, Maria Vasilyeva, Boris Lisitsyn.

Within the event in a special atmosphere, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin presented Russian passports to two brothers from Donetsk, Roman and Dmitry Kimak, who entered the Alexander Nevsky Cadet Corps of the Russian Investigative Committee.

The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee talked to the awarded children and he asked them questions about their life situation. Also, the guys were asked to consider the possibility of entering the Educational Institutions of the Russian Investigative Committee, some of the teenagers have already expressed such a desire. It was noted that 2022 marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the anti-fascist underground organization "Molodaya Gvardiya" (Young Guard), whose young members showed miracles of courage. And today's heroic deeds of the guys demonstrate the continuity of generations.

There was a musical congratulation from the creative team of the Volgograd Cadet Corps of the F.F. Slipchenko.

Concluding the event, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin instructed the Heads of the Regional Investigative Directorates to provide support to the children's families, to be interested in their needs, especially to show attention and care for children living in the DPR and LPR.

“Now these are our citizens. We must not only award a medal, but take full care of them, help in resolving all issues,” Mr. A.I. Bastrykin.
