The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to submit a report on the circumstances of the low-quality housing provision to an orphan in Volgograd Oblast

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. V.I. Semenov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Volgograd Oblast, to report on the progress of the procedural inspection related to the fact that a girl from among orphans was provided housing unsuitable for living.

According to media reports, the orphan girl received an apartment in June last year, but the housing turned out to be of poor quality: the roof was leaking, the ceiling was covered with mold, the gas heating boiler was faulty. At the same time, her appeals to the local authorities did not give any result.

The inspection is a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
