The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia takes part in a broadened meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation

Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, took part in a broadened meeting of the Collegium of the Russian Ministry of Defence, which was held at the National Defense Operations Center, and it was dedicated to overeview of the results done by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in 2022, as well as the tasks settings for the upcoming 2023. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Minister of Defense of Russia Sergei Kuzhugetovich Shoigu spoke at the meeting. The Leadership of the Armed Forces, Officials of the Command of Military Districts, Fleets and Flotillas, Formations and Military Units of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Heads of Law Enforcement Agencies, State Authorities and Public Organization Representatives were among the participants of the event.

The Head of State determined the key directions for the development of the Army and Navy. The President of the Russian Federation thanked the servicemen who are in the zone of the Special Military Operation, and he also stressed: "All of them fulfill their military duty with dignity." On the suggestion of Mr. V.V. Putin, all those present paid tribute to the memory of their comrades-in-arms who gave their lives for their Motherland. Concluding his speech, the President of Russia expressed his confidence in the achievement of all the tasks set for the Ministry.

Mr. S.K. Shoigu, Minister of Defense of Russia, delivered a keynote speech on the course of the Special Operation, on the number of weapons and military equipment received in 2022, and on the construction of infrastructure. In addition, he voiced the topic of international activities and the topic of social security of the military.

At the meeting, it was noted that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fulfill their duty to the State and citizens invariably with honor and dignity, taking preventive and liberating measures during a Special Military Operation.

Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces assist Officers of the Investigative Committee in investigating the crimes committed the Kiev regime. The security of conducting investigative actions is of great importance, as well as communications, transportation of personnel, forensic equipment, escort, accommodation and other support for members of investigation teams.
