The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Primorsky Krai launched a criminal case on the fire occurred in a nightclub on Svetlanskaya Street in Vladivostok in accordance with Part 1, Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet security requirements).

It is preliminary detected that the fire started on the night of December 25, 2022 at about 2.00 a.m. All visitors were evacuated outside. The fire was contained and no one was hurt.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed Mr. V.V. Fomin, Head of the Investigative Directorate for Primorskiy Krai, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation and the already detected circumstances.
