The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee meets with Cadets and Students of Departmental Educational Organizations

In advance of the New Year, Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, met with Cadets of the Cadet Corps of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named after Alexander Nevsky and with Students of the Moscow Academy of the Russian Investigative Committee from among orphans and children left without parental care. The event was attended by Hero of Russia Sergey Vasilyevich Petrov, Head of the Directorate for Educational Work; Mr. Igor Vladimirovich Alexandrov - Acting Director of the Moscow Cadet Corps named after A. Nevsky of the Investigative Committee of Russia; Mr. Alexey Aleksandrovich Bessonov - Acting Rector of the Moscow Academy of the Russian Investigative Committee; Officers of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee; Mr. Yuri Mikhailovich Borzakovsky - Olympic Champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Head Coach of the Russian National Track and Field Athletics Team.

The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee emphasized that such meetings have already become a good tradition, noting that since September 1, 2022, Cadets and Students from new territories that have become part of the Russian Federation have joined the friendly teams of Departmental Educational Organizations. In this regard, he took an interest in the issues of adaptation of the children, their arrangement and organization of the educational process.

It was also noted that further improvement of education and upbringing, providing students with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities is one of the main tasks of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. For these purposes, the necessary scientific and methodological potential was created, the teaching staff was formed, an internship program and a system for the work of public assistant investigators, mentoring were developed.

Mr. A.I. Bastrykin added that the system of training of Сadet Сorps and Academies of the Investigative Committee involves the education of the necessary moral and patriotic qualities of future Officers, the formation of their high cultural level. "The position of the Investigative Committee is to be everywhere where help is needed ," the Head of the Department said. He also stressed: "You are wearing our uniform, you are wearing our shoulder straps and our traditions, which were laid down by Peter the Great!"

Since 2019, the Department has increased the percentage of Cadets and Students from among orphans and children left without parental care in Educational Organizations of the Investigative Committee of Russia. The guys actively participate in the All-Russian Military-Patriotic Public Movement "Yunarmiya", in the processions of the "Immortal Regiment", search and volunteer movements, regularly hold sports and patriotic events.

From the first days of the Special Military Operation, young people also try to help the wounded in hospitals, support the families of servicemen.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia spoke separately on the issues of providing students with housing. He noted that the Department will continue to take the necessary measures to implement and restore the violated rights of the socially unprotected category of citizens.

During the meeting, musical compositions were performed, as well as verses by classics performed by Cadets and Students. In addition, the students were able to ask their questions and share their impressions gained during the training.

Concluding the event, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia congratulated the Cadets and Students of Educational Organizations on the upcoming New Year, wishing them good health, excellent studies and strong friendship. Also, the children were presented with New Year's gifts, and they, in their turn, handed over memorable souvenirs to Mr. A.I. Bastrykin.
