A criminal case is launched on the 8 people murder in the Makeevka city, the Donetsk People's Republic

The 121st Military Investigative Division of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation launched a criminal investigation in accordance with paragraphs. "a", "c", "e" and "g" Part 2, Article 105 (the murder of two or more persons, including a juvenile, committed by a group of persons by prior agreement with special cruelty), paragraph "a" part 2 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of a car without the purpose of theft, committed by a group of persons in collusion).

Earlier, the Military Investigating Authorities received information about the discovery of the bodies of 8 people in a house in the Makeevka city, the Donetsk People's Republic, three of them were children. Investigators, experts and forensic specialists of the Main Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee, as well as forensic investigators from the Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the United Group Alignment (Forces) were engaged in work at the scene.

A car, on which the persons suspected of committing a crime escaped, was promptly detected. Later, 4 people were detained in one of the apartments in Donetsk. An AK-74 assault rifle, 3 magazines for it, and 2 grenades were found and seized during a search in the apartment. Corresponding paper-documents are being prepared to send weapons for examination.

Currently, the issue of imposing restraint as custody against the detainees is being considred.
