Finland’s Interior Ministry and the Russian Investigative Committee have signed a cooperation agreement

Alexander Bastrykin during his brief visit in Helsinki has met with Finnish Interior Ministry Deputy Minister, Secretary of State Marjo Antura and the Chief of Police Mikko Paatero.

During the meetings they discussed the perspectives for cooperation between the agencies and organization of interaction. The agenda included a lot of subjects, particularly those related to combat against organized crime, corruption, as well as the procedure of cooperation between Russian and Finnish police authorities due to future reduction or lifting of viza regime between the countries.

The negotiations were held in trusting, constructive and business manner. As a result of the meetings Finland’s Interior Ministry and the Russian Investigative Committee signed a cooperation agreement.
