Alexander Bastrykin had a working meeting with Poland’s Prosecutor General Andrsej Seremet

A working meeting of the Head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin and Prosecutor General of Poland Andrzej Seremet has taken place today.

The meeting discussed co-operation between Russian IC and Poland’s bodies in the on-going probes into Smolensk Tu-154 M plane crash which claimed lives of 96 Polish nationals including Poland’s President, Lech Kaczyński. The two sides exchanged relevant information on the investigation and legal assistance in these criminal cases and expressed mutual satisfaction with the state of co-operation. They also planned further steps to be taken in actual procedures in the territories of Russian and Poland and co-ordination of the investigation. Other criminal cases of mutual interest were also discussed. The meeting went in friendly and understanding atmosphere.
