The leadership of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has ordered the Central Investigative Department for Moscow city to undertake a pre-investigative check in connection with the video in the Internet showing a policeman beating up a young woman, including kicking her in stomach, during protests on Bolotnaya Ploshchad.

In this check measures will be taken to find the policemen who used violence against the woman. Besides, the investigators are going to establish other circumstances of the incident and find witnesses. A procedural decision will be made following the results of the check.
