Head of village Razvilkovskoye of Leninsky district in Moscow detained on bribe suspicion


The investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow region have initiated a criminal case against the Head of village Razvilkovskoye of Leninsky district Alexander Kolodin suspected of a crime under paragraphs “b”, ā€œcā€ of part 5 of article 290 of the Russian Criminal Code (bribe-taking on a large scale with extortion).

According to the version, in spring 2012, a resident of Leninsky district applied to the head of the village for a position of administration deputy head. Kolodin demanded a bribe of 1 million rubles for the positive decision. When the candidate consented, he signed the proper commission order, after which on 5 May 2012, Kolodin in his working office received a part of the stipulated sum of 400,000 rubles. Immediately after receiving of money he was detained by officers of Interior Ministry Main Department for Central Federal District in the process of investigation and search operations.

Under the motion by investigators Kolodin was put into custody.

The investigation of the case is continued. Investigative actions are underway to collect evidence.
