Sentence passed in Saint Petersburg over local resident convicted of killing former Dom-2 reality show star

The Court found the evidence collected by investigative bodies of the St. Petersburg Investigative Committee sufficient to sentence former inspector of Petrograd district Supervisory Department of the St. Petersburg EMERCOM Main Office Yuri Zhidkov. He is found guilty of a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code (murder).

The investigation and court have established that on 24 December 2010, Zhidkov, motivated by personal dislike, attacked 23-year old Andrey Kadetov at Svetlanovsky Prospekt and stabbed him 15 times. Kadetov died of the wounds in an ambulance car.

The court sentenced Zhidkov to 11 years in a maximum security penitentiary.
