Today on the request of the investigative bodies of the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for Moscow city, the court has put Sergey Bersenev suspected of sexual offences against minors into custody.

So far, the investigators have established 4 episodes of criminal activity by the suspect. In all of them Bersenev attacked the school-girls at the front doors of the buildings. 4 of the victims have already recognized him. During interrogation Bersenev explained that he had committed the crimes under the influence of strong drugs for headache which he suffered because of boxing.

The investigators continue to perform investigative operations with the participation of Bersenev to consolidate the evidence base. The investigation is to be continued.
