Investigative bodies of Investigative Committee investigate case of brawl near Evropeisky mall

The investigative bodies of the Main Investigations Directorate for Moscow city of the Russian Investigative Committee investigate the case over crime under part 2 of article 213 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code (hooliganism) started against unknown persons. Their actions were re-qualified for the crime under part 3 of article 30, part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code (attempted murder out of hooliganism).

According to investigators, on 5 June 2012, about 7 p.m. on the Kiyevsky Vokzal Ploshchad, near the shopping center Evropeisky, Dikham Rizvanov intending to kill Sergey Usachov, acting of hooliganism and using an insignificant pretext, stabbed him no less than two times in the chest, causing penetrating wounds of insides. However, Rizvanov could not finish the crime because of circumstances independent of him, as Usachov and his friends offered resistance. In addition the unknown persons shot several times from a traumatic gun at Yevgeny Pavlov causing wound in his right leg.

Today, Dikhan Rizvanov, 22, has been detained on the suspicion of committing this crime. The investigators are taking measures to identify and detain his accomplices and will request the court to put take them into custody.
