The investigation group of the Russia’s Investigative Committee together with field officers of crime detection office of Interior Ministry round-the-clock carry out search and investigation operations to find and arrest the murderer of a 5-year-old boy in the Vladimir region. Especially for that purpose the most experienced criminologists of the Central Office of Investigative Committee with the modern forensic equipment set off. At present a number of expertise were set up, including DNA, scent evidence analysis and criminalistics examination of microscopic particles superposition which will help the investigators to find whether the suspects are involved in the crime or not. There is information referring to law enforcement bodies, claiming that the suspects are arrested, which misleads the public and creates additional obstacles in finding the murderer. I want to warn right away that investigation, and investigation only, will determine involvement of any detainee in the crime and these conclusions will be based on the set of collected by investigators evidence (including the results of the expertise) and not on their mere confessions. I should say that investigators have already checked up on several men, but their complicity has been refuted. That is the reason why I warn everybody against premature spread of unverified information. Reliable information can come only from Investigative Committee, which is investigating the case of kidnapping and murder of a 5-year-old boy. The investigators have no doubts that sooner or later a murderer will be found and brought to justice. Our task is not to report on quick solution, but to find and hold responsible a real murderer, so that he could not commit the same crimes again.
