The Central Federal District Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has completed investigation of a criminal case against a former director of healthcare department of the Tula region Yevgeny Yudin accused of crimes under part 4, article 160 of the RF Criminal Code (embezzlement).

According to investigators, in 2008-2009 Yudin being director of the Tula region healthcare department embezzled the money for purchase of CAT scanners for medical institutions of the Tula region. As a result of his unlawful actions the federal and regional budgets suffered a damage of more than 21 million rubles.

Investigators have collected enough evidence, therefore the case with the approved indictment is forwarded to the court to be tired on the merits.
