Alexander Bastrykin held personal reception of citizens in Saint-Petersburg

On 6 July 2012 Alexander Bastrykin held a reception of citizens in Saint-Petersburg. At the reception which was held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 94 residents of Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad Region were received as well as residents of the Novgorod Region (1), the Krasnodar (1) and Altai (1) Territories. The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin personally received 46 people. 48 people were received by the officials of the Central Office.

On his arrival in Saint-Petersburg Alexander Bastrykin decided to put in the list all the citizens who had come, including those without preliminary appointment. Complaints received during personal reception concerned different subjects including the work of investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee. However, most complaints were about other law enforcement bodies and judicial decisions on civil and criminal cases.

The progress of consideration of all received complaints the Chairman took under his personal control.
