In Leningrad Region information in media being checked about dangerous conditions children from orphanage held in, in a summer camp

On the instructions of leaders of Russia’s Investigative Committee the Leningrad Region investigative bodies are checking the information posted on one of Internet websites about children of Orphanage № 1 in Saint-Petersburg being held in a camp in dangerous for life and health conditions.

The message in particular informs about gross violations sanitary-and-epidemiologic norms in health camp Yunost in the village of Roshchino of Vyborgsky district, Leningrad Region, utter exhaustion of children and holding HIV-positive children in such conditions.

Investigation operations group has immediately set off for the incident scene. Necessary checks are under way. Initiation of a criminal case is being considered.
