Primorsky Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have brought charges against head of regional directorate of Federal Agency for Management of Federal Property in Primorsky Territory Yuri Belenets. He is accused of a crime under part 1 of article 286 of RF Criminal Code (exceeding of official powers).

According to investigators, Belenets, in violation of the federal law without tender concluded with a commercial organization a government contract on services to dispose of a batch of pork, which had not any documents confirming its safety. As a result of the said actions, an organization which asked twice less money for the same services was not allowed to do the job. This led to over 17 million rubles damage to the federal budget.

Investigation is to be continued to establish all circumstances of the crime.
