In Moscow Region two municipal officials suspected of corruption

Central Federal District Investigation Department has initiated a criminal case against First Deputy Head of Lotoshinsky district administration, Moscow Region, Yevgeny Teplyakov suspected of a crime under part 1 of article 286 of RF Criminal Code (exceeding official powers) and against Director of Municipal Unitary Enterprise Ritual of the said district Pavel Zaimentsev suspected of a crime under part 5 of article 33, part 1 of article 286 of RF Criminal Code (complicity in exceeding official powers).

According to investigators, since November 2011 Yevgeny Teplyakov in person and through Zaimentsev demanded to give the latter 500 thousand rubles and transfer of 7.5 million rubles to the bank account of district administration as a “donation” for not preventing state registration of transition of owner rights to land lots purchased by a local woman. On 1 August 2012 Zaimentsev was detained while receiving 500 thousand rubles and an imitation of payment order for 7.5 million rubles.

At present, investigators are collecting additional evidence, and procedural decisions will be made. Investigation is to be continued.
