Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens in Moscow


August 14, 2012 the Chairman of the Investigative Committee held a personal reception of citizens in Moscow. During the reception, which lasted from 11 a.m. to 22 p.m., Alexander Bastrykin received 31 people. In general, these were residents of Moscow and Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Rostov and Vladimir regions.

Most of the complaints received by the Chairman of Russian IC in the course of a personal reception referred to the procedural decisions on criminal cases in the proceedings of the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee. Also, citizens complained about the decisions of other law enforcement agencies officials and judicial decisions.

As a result of a personal reception Alexander Bastrykin gave specific instructions to the heads of a number of regional investigation bodies of the Investigation Committee. Investigation of all accepted complaints and claims is under personal control of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.

Some of those applied to Alexander Bastrykin have expressed their gratitude for the prompt and fair resolution of their complaints and appeals filed earlier to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
