Today, a workshop for media assistants of the heads of territorial investigation and equivalent specialized departments, including the military investigative agencies of the Urals and Siberian Federal Districts opened in Chelyabinsk.

The workshop brought together the heads of investigation departments of the Urals and Siberian federal districts, the First Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Oleg Grachev, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Legislative Assembly Yuri Karlikanov, heads of legal television programs of "Russia" and "NTV" TV channels, and representatives from law enforcement agencies of the Chelyabinsk region.

Opening the event, the chairman of the meeting, head of the media relations department of the IC of Russia, Vladimir Markin, stressed out the importance of informational component of the activities of each investigation department, and appealed the IC officials for a prompt, competent, reasonable and clear explanation of some or other procedural actions of the investigators to the society.
