One of the persons involved in a criminal case of the attack on environmentalist Konstantin Fetisov will appear in court

The Investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region have completed the investigation of the criminal case against Denis Rastokin involved in the criminal case of the attack on environmentalist Konstantin Fetisov. He is accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 116 of the RF Criminal Code (beatings) and Part 3 of Article 160 of the RF Criminal Code (misappropriation).

The investigators have established that Rastokin assisted by Vazghen Tsaturyan inflicted beatings to Konstantin Fetisov. In addition, the investigators have found that Rastokin appropriated money in the amount of 290 thousand rubles, belonging to one of the travel agencies, where he had worked as a courier in 2005.

The criminal case against Rastokin was separated, as he had signed a pre-trial agreement on cooperation. The other defendants in the attack on Konstantin Fetisov: Andrei Chernyshev – the Head of the Municipal Property and Privatization Department of the Committee for Property Management affiliated with the administration of the urban district Khimki of Khimki municipal area, Andrei Kashirin, Vyacheslav Kovalev, Maxim Kriventsov, Vazghen Tsaturyan continue to study the materials of the criminal case.

The criminal case against another person involved in this case and recognized insane as a result of psychological and psychiatric examination, was separated and directed to the prosecutor.
