Today Alexander Bastrykin paid working visit to Tatarstan

Today Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has arrived in Naberezhnye Chelny with working visit.

Together with Prime-Minister of the Republic Ildar Khalikov, Chief of Republican Investigations Directorate Pavel Nikolayev and Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasili Shaikhraziyev Mr Bastrykin visited the grave of 12-year-old Danil Sadykov who in May 2012 at the expense of his own life saved a 9-year-old boy in Naberezhnye Chelny. The boy accidentally fell into a fountain basin with electrocuted water inside it. Danil Sadykov immediately rushed after him and both boys were electrocuted, but for Sadykov that was fatal.

Having laid a wreath to the boy’s grave, the Chairman took part in the opening of memorial plate in school No 9 where Danil Sadykov was a student. Here Mr Bastrykin had a lesson of courage with the boy’s classmates. Then guests visited new 3-room apartment of the Sadykovs assigned for them by the President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. On behalf of senior officials of Russian Investigative Committee and tatarstan Investigations Directorate Danil’s parents received valuable presents.

In the evening the Chairma is going to hold operations meeting to hear results of work of Tatarstan Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee over 8 months of 2012 and progress of investigation of a number of criminal cases under control. At the end of his working trip Mr bastrykin will receive citizens.
