Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman Judo Cup takes place in Noginsk

First Inter-Regional Junior Judo Competition for the Russia’s Investigative Committee Chairman Cup dedicated to the memory of Yevgeny Tabakov, Danil Sadykov and SK employees who died on duty is taking place today in the town of Noginsk, Moscow Region in the Sports Complex Znamya.

Organizers of the competition are: Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation; Moscow Region Government; Noginsk Municipal District Administration; Judo Federation of Russia; Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth of Moscow Region, Judo Federation of Moscow Region; Moscow Region Junior Sports School of Martial Arts; Social Justice Union of Russia.

Eight best municipal teams of Moscow Region, Moscow city and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District participate in the competition. The participants are all of 1999-2000 years of birth. The competition will be attended by families of the SK employees died on duty and the family of the youngest cavalier of Order of Courage Yevgeny Tabakov who had been tragically killed when he was protecting his sister from an armed criminal.

Opening the competition the Chairman of the Investigative Committee thanked heads of the district, organizers of the competition, guests and young sportsmen participating in the competition. Mr Bastrykin noted that today’s event had a very powerful emotional fund with a feeling of civicism and patriotism and it was dedicated to the most precious – to heroes who had given their lives for the sake of justice and protection of families against mortal peril. Investigators, remembering the firmness and valor of their killed colleagues today implement their duties with dignity and honor. Their selflessness is the most important factor of ensuring law and order, peace and triumph of Law, serves as insuperable obstacle on the way of criminals. Mr Bastrykin once more repeated the names of young cavaliers of Order of Courage – Yevgeny Tabakov and Danil Sadykov and stressed that today’s competition showed an inseparable link between and spiritual unity of many generations of Motherland’s defenders who know and will always remember their best representatives. In conclusion Mr Bastrykin said that the Investigative Committee had always appreciated not only inherited strength, courage, pride, but sincere unselfish friendship, justice, mercy and kindness.
