5 suspects of killing Turkish placed in custody

Today a court under petition of the investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has ruled to place in custody Amirkhanov R.M., Gyuvergiyev S.B., Kucherov R.V., Isaakyan O.Y. and Gadzhimagomedova G.S. Depending on the role of each one they are suspected of crimes under paragraph “g” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Criminal Code (murder committed by a group of persons) and part 2 of article 162 (robbery committed by a group of persons under a preliminary conspiracy).

During the investigation it has been preliminarily found that at night of 6 June 2013 Amirkhanov, Gyuvergiyev, Kucherov and an unknown called Igor broke into the flat of a Turkish citizen A. Yilmaz in Leninsky prospect of Moscow, using the moment when the man opened the door to go outside on the request of Gadzhimagomedova, whom he had known before. The suspects beat him up and tied arms and legs with a sellotape. After that they gave the keys of the victim’s BMW-5 to Isaakyan and he drove it to in the district Otradnoye in Moscow. Having received a report that the car was in its destination, the suspects strangled the man with a wire and fled the crime scene.

At present the whereabouts of another suspect are being found. Investigation is ongoing.
