Criminal investigation launched in Moscow into death of man resulted from beat up in road conflict

The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal case into death of a man and inflicting grievous bodily harm to another man resulted from a conflict on a road in Leningradsky Prospekt in Moscow and containing signs of crimes under part 4 of article 111 of the RF Criminal Code and paragraphs “a” and “b” of part 3 of article 111.

According to investigators, on September 22, 2013, about 2:15 AM, there was a conflict near house No 41 in Leningradsky Prospekt in Moscow between a group of men in a BMW and two men in a Lancer. A 32-year-old driver of the Lancer from Moscow Region died of multiple blows, including by a baseball bat. His passenger was delivered to the hospital with multiple injuries. The other party – people in the BMW fled the scene.

At present the persons involved in the crime are being searched. Investigation is ongoing.
