On 5 and 6 October 2013, 3 teachers and 10 hospital attendants of the Derbyshkinsky home for mentally retarded children were delivered at the Republican infectious diseases hospital in the city of Kazan to contain a possible epidemic. The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the Republic of Tatarstan have launched a pre-investigating check into the fact.

At present measures are being taken to find all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
