On 26 December, About 09:45 PM, local time, a cargo An-12 plane of Irkutsk plane factory travelling from Irkutsk to Novosibirsk crashed at the military unit near the railway station Batareynaya in the suburbs of Irkutsk. According to preliminary data there were 6 people aboard the plane.

An investigating group of the East Siberian Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has set off for the crime scene. They are going to find out all the circumstances of the crash.
