Investigating bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia continue a criminal investigation of the murder of a journalist of VGTRK TV channel in Nalchik. The main version of the investigators is related to the professional activities of Gekkiyev. This bold crime is regarded as a threat to other journalists, telling on the progress of the fight against the gangster underground operating in the territory of the Republic. A characteristic detail of this case is that the suspects made sure that Gekkiyev is a journalist and a news presenter before killing him. This fact confirms the priority version of the investigators. 3 shots were made at Gekkiyev. 9 mm shells were found at the scene. The investigators scheduled a set of necessary expert examinations.
