Another active participant of mass riots on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow detained

The Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee as part of the criminal case over organization of, participation in and calls for mass riots and use of violence against representatives of authority on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow has found and detained one more active participant of mass disorders – Ilya Gushchin.

According to investigators, Gushchin, 24, on 6 May tried to prevent a policeman from detaining another participant of the mass riots by grabbing him on his uniform and trying to knock him down. Investigators have video material confirming Gushchin’s illegal actions. In addition witnesses have already identified the detainee.

In the near future investigators are going to charge Gushchin and decide over a pre-trial restraining measure. No organizer or participant of mass riots on Bolotnaya Square will escape justice, this is why investigators continue looking for them.
