In Tatarstan official suspected of exceeding authority

The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the Republic of Tatarstan have launched a criminal case against head of executive committee of Leninogorsk District Aydar Khismatullin, 45. He is suspected of a crime under part 1 of article 286 of the RF Penal Code (exceeding authority).

According to investigators, on 26 December 2013 khismatullin deliberately signed an ecceptance certificate under a municipal contract under which the contractor firm was to repair fence around burial grounds for animal refuse and biothermal pits in Leninogorsk District before 31 December 2013. However, no repairs had been done. Khismatullin’s actions caused the budget a loss of over 1 million 400 thousand rubles.

At present investigating operations are underway to find all the circumstances of the crime. Investigation is ongoing.
