The Chelyabinsk Region investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have charged head of Uyskoye District Yuri Kosarev with a crime under part 2 of article 285 of the RF Penal Code (abuse of official authority by head of local authority).

According to investigators, in April 2013 Kosarev violating current legislation singed a resolution giving his wife the ownership of a piece of land in the village of Uyskoye for construction of a house.

At the motion of the investigators the court has ruled to suspend Kosarev from office. He was released on recognizance.

Investigating operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
