In Moscow investigators arrest man charged with murder of 3600 Podmoskovye TV channel host

Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has charged Anton Gurvits, 19, with a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder).

According to investigators, on 12 July 2014, the accused was in the flat of an acquaintance of his 24-year-old host with 360⁰ Podmoskovye TV channel Andrey Rybakin. At some point they had a fight and Gurvits hit Rybakin multiple times on his head with a bat. The man died of the injuries.

At the request of the investigators a court has ruled to remand the accused in custody pending the trial. The investigation is ongoing.
