In the morning of 9 August 2014, a dead body of an 11-year-old boy was found at 9 AM 2014, in the woods near Yubileyny sports palace in Kashira-2 with a stab wound to his neck and head. The investigating bodies of the Moscow Region Main Investigations Directorate have launched an investigation into a crime under part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of a minor).

According to preliminary reports that boy was in a walk with his friends in the park and did not come home that evening. Worried parents and relatives started looking for the boy and early next morning found his body in the park.

Investigators and criminalists are working at the scene of crime. During the examination they found fragments of a glass bottleneck - presumably the murder weapon. 

A number of investigating and search operations are under way to identify the person responsible for the crime.
