Investigators going on looking for persons involved in 2010terrorist attacks in Moscow subway

Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case launched over article 205 of the RF Criminal Code, over the explosions committed on 29 March 2010 by female suicide terrorists at Lubyanka and Park Kultury Moscow subway stations.

We remind that the explosions killed 39 people and injured another 128. The damage to the Moscow subway was estimated at 15 million rubles.

During the investigation 500 witnesses have been interrogated, 323 forensic medical, DNA, pyrotechnical, chemical and technical expert examinations have been run, more than 40 searches and more than 60 identifications have been carried out, as well as a lot of seizures, studies of objects and documents. The organizers and perpetrators of the attacks were found. They were Vagabov, Aliyev, Magomednabiyev, Shchashchayev, Magomedov, Rabadanov, Isagadzhiyev. All of them were killed when they offered armed resistance to the law enforcement.

At present investigators continue to carry out investigating and search operations to find other persons involved in these terrorist attacks.
