450^th military investigations department of Russia’s Investigating Committee based in the village of Zavety Ilyicha, Khabarovsk Territory has opened a criminal case against CEO of Komsomolsky branch of OAO Slavyanka (OJSC) Yuri Gedzenko. He is suspected of a crime under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Criminal Code (swindling on an especially large scale).

According to investigators, in October 2011, Russian Ministry of Defense concluded with OAO Slavyanka a state contract on technical maintenance and repairs to facilities of military camps. Despite the fact that in the period between October 2011 and September 2012 the works in the territory of the military camp of military unit 62250-4 based in Khabarovsk Territory were not conducted, Gudzenko made up fictitious acceptance certificates and sent them to the senior officials of the military unit for approval. In the similar way the reports on technical maintenance and current repairs to the building of the school in municipal property were made. The said actions caused the state damage of more than 2 million rubles.

At present investigating operations are underway to find all the circumstances of the crimes. Investigation is ongoing.
