The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for the Tver Region are carrying out a pre-investigating check into the facts reported by a number of media stating that an unknown man in the cage Pit-Stop in the town of Rzhev, Tver Region, was inclining a minor to drink alcohol. An image attached to the reports shows the boy drinking alcohol.

According to preliminary data, a 39-year-old woman with her 3-year-old son came in the café Pit-Stop on 26 August 2014. There she met her acquaintances and started drinking alcohol with them. While the mother was communicating with the men, the boy stayed unattended, he took a glass with alcohol in it and drank.

At present all the circumstances of the incident are being established. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
