The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation into a murder of a man as a crime under part 1 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder) and part 1 of article 222 (illegal circulation of firearms).

According to investigators, on 9 September 2014, an unidentified person shot at least twice at the businessman near a house on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow and fled. The victim died at the scene of gunshot wounds.

At present investigating and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime and identify the person involved. The investigation is ongoing.
