In Moscow criminal investigation launched in murder of two

The investigating bodies of Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation into a murder of a woman born in 1955 and a man born in 1970 as a crime under part 2 of article 105 and part 1 of article 222 of the RF Penal Code (murder and illegal circulation of firearms).

According to preliminary reports, on 12 September 2014, at around 08:55 PM, near a house No 9 in Gashek Street in Moscow, an unidentified man shot multiple times at a lawyer and her driver and fled the scene. The two died at the scene of the wounds.

At present a set of investigating and search operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crime and detain the killer. The investigation is ongoing.
