In Moscow criminal investigation launched in not paying salary to employees of Polyot airlines

Moscow Interregional Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case over crimes under part 1 of article 145.1 and part 2 of article 145.1 of the RF Penal Code (partial and complete non-payment of salary).

According to investigators, not identified persons from top managers of ZAO Polyot Airlines knowingly and acting out of mercenary motives did not pay salary to the most employees of the company. This way, from March to June 2014, the debt stands at over 73 million rubles. During that period the top managers of the company had enough money to pay the salaries. However, wanting to get more profit and putting interests of the company above the interests of its employees, seeking to get more benefits for themselves, the top managers paid to contractors regularly. By doing that they violated labor rights of their staff.

At present necessary investigative operations are underway to find out all the circumstances of the crimes and persons involved. The investigation is ongoing.
