In Moscow, two Pension Fund employees charged

Investigating authorities of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia launched criminal proceedings against Chief of the Pension Fund Main Directorate number 8 for Moscow and the Moscow region Tatiana Moiseyenko over the crime under Part 6 of Article 290 of the RF Criminal Code (acceptance of a bribe on an especially large scale) and Deputy Chief of the Pension Fund Main Directorate number 3 for Moscow and the Moscow region Alexander Moiseyenko over the crime under Part 5 of Article 33, Part 6 of Article 290 of the RF Criminal Code (aiding and abetting bribery).

According to preliminary data, the above-mentioned Directorates of the Pension Fund of Russia signed state contracts for the provision of administrative services for the protection of premises with one of the security companies. For the purpose of illicit enrichment, Tatiana Moiseyenko engaged Deputy Chief of the Pension Fund Main Directorate number 3 for Moscow and the Moscow region Alexander Moiseyenko as an accomplice and subsequently, in the course of repeated personal meetings, officials demanded a large sum of money from the representative of the security company. In case of refusal, the officials threatened him by the initiation of contract termination procedure and non-signing the acceptance certificate. As a result of police operational activities, the receipt of funds by those persons has been documented, and they were caught red-handed.

Currently, accomplices detained in accordance with the law. They have already been charged depending on their roles. Today investigators are going to petition the court for remanding them in custody. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
