The Northwestern Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has charged 30 Greenpeace activists over the assault on the Prirazlomnaya oil rig.

All of them are charged with a crime under part 3 of article 227 of the RF penal Code (piracy by an organized group). The accused are not pleading guilty and are refusing to testify.

The investigation is ongoing.
