The investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigating Committee in the Republic of Dagestan continue criminal investigation into a twin explosion committed on 30 October 2013 in Dakhadayev Street in the city of Makhachkala, which killed 1 and injured 17 people.

The investigating group is working at the scene, they have seized the objects relevant for the investigation and set forensic expert examinations. The videos from CCTV cameras planted on the buildings near the scene have also been seized.

The investigators have identified two perpetrators – they are members of Makhachkala gang 22-year-old Magomedrasul Shakhbanov and 24-year-old Makhmud Aliyev.

At present search and investigating operations are underway to find and detain the suspects as well as to find other accomplices of the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
