The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has paid a working visit to France, where he met with representatives of French law enforcement.

During the meetings Mr. Bastrykin discussed a number of criminal cases investigated by the Russia’s Investigative Committee and mentioned the problem of locating the internationally wanted criminals.

In conclusion of his visit, the Chairman gave a lecture “Features of development of criminal procedure in France and Russia” in the Law Department at the Sorbonne. During this meeting there was a round table, where Mr. Bastrykin answered the questions from the participants, who mostly were Russian emigrants and activists of various public movements.
