Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has held a briefing today in the city of Saint-Petersburg.

The meeting was attended by heads of the Northwestern Federal District Investigations Directorate, Saint-Petersburg Main Investigations Directorate, Leningrad Region Investigations Directorate and Northwestern Transport Investigations Directorate. The participants reported to the Chairman on the performance of the directorates they head in 2013.

Besides, the Chairman heard reports on the progress of the most complicated and resounding investigations.

At the end of the meeting Mr. Bastrykin gave a number of orders and set tasks concerning the most relevant areas of the Committee’s activity in 2014.
