This morning, the first Deputy Head of the Investigations Directorate Yekaterina Gilina took part in the solemn meeting dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in the village of Novoselitsy, Novgorod District, where about 2 thousand soldiers are buried at a military memorial.

At noon, the Investigations Directorate staff took part in a meeting dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It was held in Veliky Novgorod at the stele "City of Military Glory". In accordance with the tradition, the meeting participants observed a minute of silence in honor of those fallen in the Great Patriotic War. After the rally at the stele "City of Military Glory", employees of the Investigations Directorate went in a festive column to the Kremlin, to the memorial "Flame of Eternal Glory ", where they laid wreaths.
