Head of the Vladimir Region Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Major General Alexander Yelantsev and the staff of the Directorate took part in the festivities dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Showing immense respect for the heroism of the participants of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers, expressing officers and civilian duty and the involvement in the progressive patriotic forces of society, capable of protecting the rights and interests of the state and the citizens of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Investigations Directorate took part in a solemn procession to the Victory Square in the city of Vladimir and the laying of wreaths and flowers at the memorial.

The staff of the city and inter-district investigations departments laid flowers and wreaths at the Eternal Flame and participated in the activities to improve the territory and tend the graves of fallen soldiers in the cities of the Vladimir Region.

Employees of the Investigations Department restored a monument to fallen soldiers and a memorial stele in the village of Yelino, Melenki District by their own efforts and at their own expense.
