Staff of Samara Region Investigations Directorate of Russia’s Investigative Committee took part in parade dedicated to 69th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War

May 9, 2014, tens of thousands of spectators gathered at the Kuibyshev Square in the city of Samara. Residents and visitors came to see the victory parade, which started at 10 am. This year, nine 45-ton T-72 tanks equipped with rubber boots, military- patriotic clubs and military equipment were involved in the parade for the first time. In addition, an Aviation Group of the Aeroclub DOSAAF of Russia will fly over the Volga River. More than 23 million viewers gathered at 11 stands. Head of the Samara Region Investigations Directorate Valery Samodaykin and the staff of the Investigations Directorate took part in the parade dedicated to 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

After a solemn march through the square, tanks, armored carriers, howitzers and other modern and WWII military equipment, land forces, a troop of Cossacks and the cavalry continued to move through the streets of Samara.
