On 22 May 2014, the Investigative Committee got a report that a hot water pipe ruptured in Vavilov street during hydro-testing by heat and power plant-2. The Krasnoyarsk Territory investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a pre-investigating check into the incident.

According to investigators, on 22 May 2014, a hot water pipeline ruptured in Vavilov street near house No 1. Bus No 65 fell in the open pit injuring 9 passengers, 5 of them aged 16-17. The passengers with thermal burns and cuts were taken to hospitals.

An investigating team is working at the scene. The investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made following the check.
