In Mari El Investigative Committee employees commemorated Great Patriotic War veterans and congratulated home front worker on the eve of Great Victory Day

May 8, on the eve of the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Mari El Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation led by the Directorate Head Oleg Mikhailovich Doronin congratulated the widows of veterans, visited the grave of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and the investigating authorities Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov.

Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov was born on February 5, 1925 in the village of Nizhny Sesnur, Kuzhener District, Mari ASSR. By the beginning of the war Lipatnikov was a schoolboy. In his free time, in accordance with the instructions of the District Executive Committee, he and his peers were engaged timber transportation. It was hard work, but everyone knew that the task must be performed.

After finishing school in January 1943, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov was sent to the military school of Zhytomyr, which had been evacuated to Kazan, where he was undergoing mortar man training during six months. In May of the same year, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov arrived in Moscow Region, where an airborne brigade was being formed, and from June he participated in the battles in the Leningrad Region of Karelia. Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov travelled many roads during the war. He traveled to Moldova, Poland, and Germany. In the liberated territories, they had to fight with the remnants of fascists, gangs and enemy spies. But our hero was lucky again and remained unwounded.

After the war, the fate has thrown Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov on the Sakhalin Island, where he served for 4 years.

In 1952, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov returned home. His chest was decorated with the Order of the Patriotic War II degree and the Medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". Subsequently, he was awarded many more medals to anniversaries of Victory and the USSR Armed Forces.

Upon returning home, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov worked as a teacher of physical education in school, but received an invitation to enroll in the Leningrad Investigations School and accepted it.

After returning home, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov worked as an investigator in the prosecutor's offices of the Marie-Turek and Sernur Districts, and then, in 1965, he was appointed the senior investigator of the republic. He had to fight against crime outside of Mari El, too. The fate threw him in Togliatti, Baku, Kirovograd, Moscow and other cities, where he investigated particularly complex criminal cases. His experience of investigative work is 32 years.

For his work, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov was awarded: in 1966, a Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Mari ASSR; in 1978, the title "Honored Lawyer of the RSFSR". For long and impeccable service, he was awarded the badge "Honorary Worker of the Prosecuting Authorities". Also, Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov was repeatedly commended by the orders of the Prosecutor of the RSFSR and the Prosecutor of the Mari ASSR. Work of the legendary investigator is still unforgotten. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation awarded Arkady Vasilyevich Lipatnikov the medal "Veteran of the Investigating Authorities".

Moreover, on the eve of May 9, employees of the Medvedevsky Interdistrict Investigations Department congratulated the home front worker Pyotr Vladimirovich Nikitin.
